Rabbi

Rabbi Soussan completed his Master’s degree in Heidelberg, Germany, holding an MA from the College of Jewish Studies in Heidelberg with a minor in Constitutional Law from the University of Heidelberg. Rabbi Soussan holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Sussex, England, and received his Rabbinic ordination from the Midrash Sfaradi in Jerusalem, Israel. He is endorsed by the Aleph Institute in Bal Harbour, Florida. He has authored and co- authored several academic books and articles and is fluent in German, French and Hebrew.

Rabbi Soussan currently serves in the US Army as a Chaplain with the rank of Colonel. His current posting is Assistant Professor and Military Ethics Fellow at the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. He is married to Amy Soussan, M.D. and they have three daughters, one son and three grandsons.
