Photographer Debbie Zimmelman, working for 5 years with permission from the Israeli Defense Forces, created her book "Women on the Front Lines, Inside the Combat Units of the Israeli Army". Debbie will do a Zoom presentation about her book for Magen David members on Sunday, August 23 at 10:30 am (eastern). Ms. Zimmelman will share her experiences as she spent many hours with women IDF soldiers on their long treks, training missions, and even guard duty. Debbie is expected to invite a former female combat soldier to recount her personal experiences with the IDF.
