MDSC is sponsoring a Zoom event on "The Real Story of Hanukkah " on Monday, December 7 at 7:00 pm, led by Steve Kerbel, Washington area educator. We will explore, through selections taken from the Book of Maccabees I and the Talmud, the war with Assyria and the formation of the last independent Jewish government from over 2000 years ago.
