Rabbi Ilan Acoca is a veteran rabbi and educator. He is the rabbi emeritus of Vancouver's Congregation Beth Hamidrash and currently serves as the rabbi of the Sephardic Congregation of Fort Lee-Beth Yosef, in New Jersey, and rav beit hasefer of Yeshivat Ben Porat Yosef, in Paramus NJ. He is the writer of the book The Sephardic Book of Why and has written hundreds of articles on various topics for different publications.
